Review of the past year of Granit's HeKa network!

The year 2024 is fast approaching, and at the end of the year it's good to remind ourselves what all HeKa managed to do in 2023. We organized up to 11 different events during the year, and here are a few of them:  

What is HeKa all about?

At Graniit, people's satisfaction and well-being are more than important. How satisfied the Granit people are with their own work, their skills and their company is visible to the customer. That is why we want the customer to always have access to the best version of our expert. 

With the help of Graniitti's own personnel competence development network, Mental Growth (HeKa), we want to offer personnel the opportunity to develop their own and each other's competence, while strengthening Graniitti's culture and Graniitti as a working community. 

The year started with a review of the results of the 2022 employee satisfaction survey:

The question "Would you recommend Graniitti as an employer" received the highest rating of 9.48 (on a scale of 0-10). It was nice to start the new year with commendable grades.

At the beginning of the year, we also familiarized ourselves with the world of cyber security

At the beginning of the year, Satu Koskinen took us into the secrets of cyber security and told us in a practical way what should be considered in projects from the perspective of data protection, information security and cyber security. We also learned new wonderful abbreviations such as Katakri, PiTuKri, DPIA, TIA, GDPR, OWASP.

With spring peeking through the windows, we defined the GS Spirit with the entire staff:

which is part of Graniiti's work culture, strengthening the way we face each other and the customer in practice. GS Spirit is born from the employees, values and the opportunities and support provided by the company. In addition, GS Henge exudes professionalism and sustainability. GS Spirit can be seen in practice in the way that we are reliable, we care and support and we develop.

At the dawn of summer, we had coach Sami Kokkonen as our guest!

Sami guided us to think about comprehensive well-being, emotional skills, presence and self-management. In order to increase well-being, it is good to start with basic needs, such as sufficient quality food and sleep. When the basic needs are in order, there is energy for other things.

HeKa's first half of the year ended with Graniit's summer party in a warm and happy atmosphere of togetherness in Kuopio.  

The autumn season was opened with a more than current theme of responsibility by Graniit's own responsibility experts, Viola Kaunisvirta and Irina Rekiranta-Luukkonen.

 

As the evenings were already getting darker towards autumn, we had Tomi Halonen, the chairman of Graniiti's board, as our guest.

Tomi gave us an inspiring and inspiring presentation about the secrets and importance of sales and how Graniittilaisets solve their customers' challenges, help the customer achieve their goals and succeed.


At the last event of the year, we shared tips on effective everyday work tools and methods so that we could be even better at managing projects and people in different hybrid environments.

HeKa's whole year ended with a little Christmas party organized at Graniiti's office on a joyful and happy note. Let the new year come!
