Let's enter the Granit office in Kuopio, where our two rock-hard experts, Outi and Irina, work. The office is located in Savilahti, in the premises of KPY Novapolis, which is a rapidly developing competence center. Various educational institutions are located in the area, such as vocational schools, a university and several different companies.
Outi is an experienced project and service management professional with over 15 years of experience in managing and developing the lifecycle of ICT services. Outi is also one of Graniit's People Leads and more familiarly PeLe. The role of PeLe has been at Graniit for a brisk year and it offers the opportunity to talk and share news with each other in a relaxed atmosphere. Outi's weekly virtual morning coffees have indeed proven to be popular events where Outi's team members get to meet each other and exchange information. These virtual meetings have brought us closer together and given us a sense of togetherness!
Irina, who arrived at Graniit more than a year ago, has strengthened the development and construction of in-house responsibility processes. Irina is an experienced project professional with coaching skills/design thinking skills with more than ten years of experience. Thanks to her background working in the public sector, Irina was used to a more hierarchical work culture. The transition to a shallow organizational culture like Granit's has been an exciting change. In Irina's opinion, PeLe's regular meetings, where she receives guidance and advice, are particularly useful.
